I give them 5 stars, but there is an entity called Sienna. Senior apartments that receives donation foods that is supposed to be for the tenants. When maintenance and their family and friends carry everything off.The manager is rhonda rizell she helps to pass out the food. I say smiling faces show no traces of the evil that works within. Today was my first visit volunteering and I had a wonderful experience! The facility is HUGE! Parking is easy and it's very convenient to the freeway. Inside, there is a receptionist who greeted me and provided guidance of where my group was, down the hall. The beautiful show kitchen was near the entrance, which was perfect for snapping photos. There was a meeting area with tables set up for our group (Southern Nevada CCIM) to mingle and sign in. Then, a couple of staff members showed us to where we were going, and our job duties. The station was already prepped with cleaning supplies, like spray solution, scrub brushes, lots of towels, and santize wipes. Our task was to clean bins for the meals to be transported (like to after-school programs). And we ended up cleaning so many bins that was enough for 8,250 kid's meals to be delivered!
Love giving back to the community and Crystal there was very friendly and she is sooo sweet, she was very empathetic when I told her about my recent break up with a very abusive boyfriend and how I was at a lost at this point in my life. She gave me the best advice better than my own therapist. I never met anyone let alone a stranger made me feel I’m worth more than I know and I am special I loved working with her. What a great place to volunteer for a great cause. Feeding everyone is a top priority here. Many different programs and services to chose from. There's a place for you to fit in and help different groups from kids to senior citizens. These pictures are bagging and boxing apples.
Three square meals made with groceries. The fundamental objective for Clark County is only a food bank. A drive to the North Las vegas corporate campus was a good idea on my inquisitive part. Seeing how this hunger relief program was, in fact, a place striving for the greater good. Food banks promote healthy made meals. Food drives encourage can food. Perhaps a greater good modern perspective that might be food for thought. No can intended. Can foods should be stored in bomb shelters. Can Can girls' events should be held in a cabaret.
It was amazing there. We had so much fun helping out.
Come donate your time and give back to a community in need. I spent about 2 hours with some of my coworkers. A nice size group worked together, creating 1051 individual meal packs. Providing fresh fruits and veggies. The instructions are simple, and hygiene was important. Soap, gloves, and masks provided. Plus, cold water. Very friendly helpful staff kept us on schedule and kept the place cool. There is plenty of parking also. Highly encourage people to get involved.
